From The Vision of Escaflowne, Allen is a Gallant Knight (the episode marking his entrance
is called this). He's what you would call a polite ladies man. Girls love him and he treats them all like princesses
(some are...) by kissing hands, stroking hair, etc. He is full of charm and very good looking.
Though Allen always looks calm and composed (and really hot) there is more to him than meets the eye.
Underneath his cool exterior Allen is very mysterious. He still mourns the disappearence of his sister. He blames
his father for this because his father was looking for the secret of Atlantis when she disappeared.
Outwardly he seems to like Hitome, but I think that he just sees his sister in her because he comments how
alike they are. This probably explains why he is so protective of her.
Also Allen has one son, Prince Chid, but the prince doesn't know that Allen is his father.
