Van is very blunt (and sometimes rude) in everything he does. Though just as cute, he is almost
the opposite of Allen; he isn't much of a gentleman at all, especially to Hitomi.
One thing that Van has going for him though, is that he has a very firm sense of right and wrong.
He always tries to do what he thinks is right and stands up for what he believes in. He also has a sense of respect
for those above him and puts people he loves and cares for in front of himself.
Once we get to know Van more as the serie progresses, we find that inside he is a caring and kind person.
He wants what will be best for everyone. He just has a hard time displaying his thoughts and emotions. And, he
has a hard time dealing with what he feels.
