Sirius Black was my favorite character in the "Harry

    Potter" books.  I looked forward to reading more

    about him in the fifth addition to the series.

 

    Unfortunately, from the start I knew that one of the

    central characters was going to die.  My immediate

    guess (and worst fear) was that it would be Sirius

    Black, the escapee from Azkaban prison.  As I read

    the book on June 21st, I was looking for any sort of

foreshadowing that would point to the death of someone else. 

 

But, Sirius was indeed the one who's death was eminent throughout the book, and now he is

gone, never to be heard of again. 

 

Now I honor him, as the best character in the books. He fought along the members of the

Order to save his godson and the wizarding world from the return of the Dark Lord.  He was

brave and heroic, and he always wanted to be in on the action and fun.  

 

                           

May we never forget him.
